Duties will include restoration and repointing of boundary wall and surrounding stone work. Some blocklaying skills desirable. General maintenance and upkeep of interior and exterior of Rahugh Hall which will include plastering, painting and carpentry work. This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Applicants must supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting form.

Many participants who work within the community obtain a level 3 or 4 in employability skills which can be tailored to suit the individual, including minor awards in different sectors such as; Security, Horticulture/Gardening, Cleanpass, Construction skills and DIY courses. Participants are provided with all Industry related training such as SAFEPASS, Manual Handling, Construction Skills Certification Scheme and Occupational First Aid which can be carried through to future jobs.
Many participants who obtain the relevant industry training and experience carry on to gain employment and/or continue their qualifications from the foundations built on the C.E. Scheme towards apprenticeships, construction related jobs from the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and working within healthcare industries with the recognised Cleanpass certification.
With the practical work experience gained through their involvement with the C.E. Scheme, participants can continue on to secure employment within a reputable organisation.
