On Thursday the 14th of July, judges from the IPB Pride of Place Award visited Rosemount. Earlier this year, Rosemount was nominated by Westmeath County Council to represent Westmeath in the IPB Pride of Place Award.
The IPB Pride of Place Awards is ‘An all-island competition that acknowledges the work that communities are doing all over the island of Ireland.
The judges arrived at 2.30pm and spent the afternoon visiting sites of around Rosemount and learning more about the strong community in Rosemount. The whole community turned out to meet the judges and see some of the fantastic work carried out within the village.
