Kilbeggan Community Group CLG was formed in 1995. Initially the group supported a number of sponsor groups located in Kilbeggan town, this was later extended to include sponsor groups in Horseleap, Rosemount, Streamstown and Tyrrellspass.
2013 saw a substantial increase in the number of sponsor groups working with Kilbeggan Community Group CLG including Ballinagore, Ballymore, Castletown-Geoghan, Dysart, Loughnavalley , Milltownpass, Rosemount, Streamstown. Tyrrellspass & Horseleap.
Kilbeggan Community Group CLG is one of over one thousand Community Employment Schemes in operation across the country.
